Description

  • Capture and process purchase orders received by email with high accuracy.
  • Track order status updates across internal systems and maintain organised order records.
  • Send order confirmations and provide tracking information to customers.
  • Monitor shared inboxes and respond to customer and internal queries professionally and promptly.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support smooth order fulfilment.
  • Assist with administrative reporting and documentation.
  • Support accounts receivable activities and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Contact customers regarding payment follow-ups when required.
  • Maintain strong accuracy and attention to detail while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced remote environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1–2+ years of administrative, data capturing, or order processing experience.
  • Previous customer service experience in email and/or phone-based support.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to handle high volumes accurately.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a structured remote environment.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and tools, including VoIP/soft phone.
  • Professional, reliable, and process-driven work ethic.
  • Fixed fibre internet with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps upload and download and wired Ethernet capability is mandatory.
  • Reliable backup power is required.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, 9:00am–1:00pm EST (15:00–19:00 South African time, subject to daylight savings).
  • Willingness to work on both South African and U.S. public holidays.
  • Part-time availability with potential to transition to a full-time role based on business needs.
