Description

  • Design, develop, and implement tools and features for the security platform.
  • Improve detection and prevention of malicious activity across the platform.
  • Research and implement advances in security, obfuscation, virtual machines, and compilers.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify improvements for security and machine learning detection services.
  • Deploy continuous updates informed by monitoring and research to address evolving fraud and automation threats.
  • Write clear, maintainable, well-documented, and tested code suitable for open sourcing.
  • Participate in DevSecOps operations for the code you ship, including monitoring, fault handling, metrics, and production alarms.
  • Develop solutions that meet customer and stakeholder requirements.
  • Support systems programming and compiler-related work within the security stack.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in a similar role or demonstrated expertise in systems programming and compiler development.
  • Understanding of HTTP protocols and Web APIs, including browser specifications and capabilities.
  • Demonstrated work through projects, research, or blogs related to compiler design and implementation.
  • Experience implementing processes that use cryptography and methods to obscure and secure data.
  • Experience working with JavaScript and browser automation tools and services.
  • High conscientiousness and a thoughtful, methodical approach to development at web scale.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Experience with Rust, Python, and/or C/C++ is preferred.
  • Experience with WebAssembly (WASM) is preferred.
  • Experience with Security Incident Management is preferred.
  • Pre-employment screening is required, including verification of work history, education, and identity.
  • A final in-person interview and identity verification step is required in the candidate’s country of residence.
