Description

  • Develop and maintain a high-performance image processing system that handles terabytes of 3D and raster images per day.
  • Implement image processing algorithms and techniques such as segmentation, feature extraction, and object recognition.
  • Develop back-end tools and applications to visualize and manipulate 3D images and point cloud data.
  • Optimize processing speed and memory usage to maximize system efficiency.
  • Implement database management solutions for efficient storage and retrieval of image data.
  • Integrate the system with embedded devices using gRPC.
  • Collaborate with team members, including microscope hardware engineers, to ensure seamless workflow integration.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with C# programming in .NET or .NET Core.
  • Strong understanding of performance optimization and image processing algorithms and techniques.
  • Experience with raster image processing and manipulation.
  • Familiarity with image file formats including TIFF, JPEG, and PNG.
  • Knowledge of multithreading and parallel processing.
  • Experience with SQL and large storage database management using MS SQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with .NET libraries such as ADO.NET, Entity Framework, or Dapper.
  • Familiarity with the gRPC protocol.
  • Experience with image processing libraries such as OpenCV, EmguCV, or ImageMagick is a plus.
  • Experience with healthcare image processing, or specifically Zeiss CZI, is a plus.
