Description

  • Lead wind, solar, storage, natural gas, and load projects through the full development lifecycle.
  • Evaluate site-specific risks and opportunities and present commercial tradeoffs to senior leadership and investment committees.
  • Build and maintain Excel-based financial and valuation models for project economics, interconnection costs, and M&A structures.
  • Provide commercial guidance and negotiate agreements with utilities, offtakers, and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate engineering, permitting, origination, finance, and consultant teams through development milestones.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and tracking tools to maintain delivery discipline and momentum.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in power project development or power project M&A within clean energy or utility-scale power.
  • Experience managing financial models, structuring commercial transactions, and evaluating energy markets.
  • Knowledge of ISO/RTO interconnection processes, environmental permitting, land control structures, and power purchase agreements.
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams through major development milestones and high-stakes negotiations.
  • Location within 60 miles of an Intersect hub: SF Bay Area, NYC Metro Area, Denver, Austin, Calgary, or Toronto.

  • Total compensation of $217,000–$237,000, including base salary and bonus.
