Description

  • Contribute to the land acquisition process from site due diligence through site control and closing.
  • Help resolve title and survey matters related to site control agreements and financing.
  • Support development work across wind, solar, battery storage, and real estate projects from early strategy through financial close and start of construction.
  • Manage day-to-day administration of land documents, GIS tools, project trackers, budgets, schedules, and development tools.
  • Support the negotiation of land and site acquisition agreements, including leases, purchase agreements, easements, and surface waivers.
  • Oversee third-party land agents and document specialists, including audits of reports, trackers, and document request workflows.
  • Maintain internal site control trackers and Power BI tools to report progress across the organization.
  • Work with landowners and community groups to support community engagement and positive landowner relationships.
  • Assist in preparing and updating land acquisition budgets and executive materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate management, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in real estate, the energy industry, management consulting, finance, or a related industry.
  • 1+ years of project management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expertise using Microsoft Excel or other modeling programs.
  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and self-directed.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, iterative, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Familiarity with land, environmental policy, law, or renewable energy is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Google Earth and GIS software is preferred.
  • Midland, TX is the preferred location for the role.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% for project site visits and Team Week events.

  • $115,000 to $135,000 total compensation, including base salary and bonus.
