Description

  • Resolve workstation operating system issues with little or no assistance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve printer issues, standard business application issues, and advanced server issues.
  • Support line-of-business applications such as SAGE ERP and QuickBooks, including coordinating with vendors for niche applications.
  • Handle basic and intermediate networking issues.
  • Serve as an escalation point for other technicians.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend support across onsite and remote operations.
  • Provide remote IT support and hands-on troubleshooting to clients as needed.
  • Work within the team to maintain quality and service standards for IT support.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Experience with Server 2016 through 2025.
  • Experience with VMware and Hyper-V virtualization.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure.
  • Basic knowledge of firewalls, switches, network architecture, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency supporting MS Office, Adobe, Active Directory, backup software, endpoint cybersecurity, mobile devices, and various business applications.
  • Experience with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) is highly desirable.
  • Active server certifications are preferred.
  • A home office setup with at least 8GB RAM, a supported Windows 11, Ryzen, or macOS 12+ computer, stable 5 Mbps upload/download internet, noise-canceling headset, smartphone with Microsoft Authenticator, HD webcam, second monitor, and UPS if using a desktop.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Ability to work full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST.
  • Ability to pass online behavioral and cognitive assessments.
  • Ability to provide NBI Clearance for PH applicants.
  • Preferably at least two certifications from CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or 3cx Basic Certified Engineer.
