Description

  • Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to gather and clarify business and functional requirements.
  • Drive testing strategy and support quality improvements by validating requirements.
  • Analyze current processes and systems to identify improvement opportunities aligned with project goals.
  • Create clear documentation, including business requirements, presentation mockups, acceptance criteria, and traceability artifacts.
  • Facilitate requirement workshops and stakeholder communication to ensure alignment and timely decisions.
  • Support user acceptance testing and coordinate defect resolution with cross-functional teams.
  • Prepare and support testing efforts, project status reporting, and requirement traceability documentation.
  • Communicate project risks, concerns, and quality metrics to leadership and team members.
  • Manage multiple priorities with strong time management and organization.
  • Participate in straightforward system design and configuration activities.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Commercial Insurance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong understanding of the insurance domain and commercial lines such as Auto, Property, Liability, and Workers Compensation.
  • Experience working with technical and business stakeholders in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
  • Proficiency with requirement gathering and documentation tools.
  • Ability to translate complex insurance requirements for technical teams and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Experience supporting testing activities and validating business scenarios.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native SaaS software development preferred.
  • Insurance-related certification such as AINS or CPCU is a plus.
  • 25% travel may be required.
