Description

  • Lead end-to-end product design for Meals & Health initiatives from discovery through delivery, including framing, prototyping, validation, and handoff.
  • Design cohesive experiences across home, browse, and personalized feeds with thoughtful patterns, grids, hierarchy, and merchandising balance.
  • Define experience frameworks for key moments such as onboarding, first orders, and meal planning adoption, then translate them into flows, UI, and content structure.
  • Explore AI-assisted prototyping and agentic or conversational interface concepts within the design system.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, Data Science, Marketing, and Brand to shape requirements, run experiments, and ship outcomes.
  • Plan or support research on meals, nutrition, and lifecycle behaviors, then synthesize findings into journey maps and design opportunities.
  • Mentor partners and advocate for experience-led, principle-driven design that considers journeys and emotions, not just screens.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience designing consumer-facing digital products across web and mobile.
  • A portfolio of shipped, high-impact work with measurable outcomes.
  • Expertise in interaction design and visual design.
  • Strong fluency in design systems, information architecture, and content hierarchy.
  • Proven ability to turn ambiguous problem spaces into clear design frameworks and shipped experiences.
  • Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, Research, and Data Science across discovery, iteration, testing, and launch.
  • Proficiency in Figma and Google Slides.
  • Experience incorporating generative AI tools into the design process.
  • Experience presenting work and rationale to cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments and creating structure from loosely defined opportunities.
  • Preferred: familiarity with meal planning, nutrition, health goals, or allergy and restriction management.
  • Preferred: experience in marketplaces, e-commerce, grocery, CPG, or subscription products.
  • Preferred: experience designing high-visibility surfaces such as home feeds, personalized browse, and merchandising placements.
  • Preferred: background in onboarding, activation, and retention journeys that build habits, loyalty, and trust.
  • Preferred: hands-on work with AI-assisted prototyping and agentic or conversational interface design.
  • Preferred: ability to influence outcomes on multi-team initiatives without direct authority.
  • Remote-friendly role across North America, with a preference for candidates who can collaborate effectively during Pacific Time hours.
  • Currently hiring only in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, and Nova Scotia.
