Description

  • Drive AI for Analytics data science work from opportunity identification through production impact.
  • Use data to identify promising opportunity areas and help refine new product ideas.
  • Deploy and use a variety of AI systems in production settings.
  • Improve product features by adding intelligent functionality using statistical and machine learning methods.
  • Drive critical efforts to completion with little oversight.
  • Collaborate across functions, including occasional work adjacent to data engineering and machine learning engineering.
  • Create and help shape the product roadmap.
  • Prioritize requests across multiple competing stakeholders.
  • Act as a senior cross-functional leader by aligning the team on principles, processes, and goals.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of work experience in data science or a related field.
  • Deep experience with AI workflows.
  • Expertise in Python (pandas), SQL, git, and Jupyter notebooks.
  • Strong statistical and analytical skills.
  • Experience building a machine learning, statistical, or AI model that reached production.
  • 8+ years of work experience in data science or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience leading a cross-functional team to design a metrics system tied to business strategy and ownership (preferred).
  • Significant causal experimentation experience (preferred).
  • Experience building, deploying, and supporting complex machine learning or statistical models in production (preferred).
  • Experience with Python tools such as scikit-learn, statsmodels, PyTorch, a non-matplotlib visualization library, and flask; and SQL in Snowflake (preferred).
  • Must be willing to work remotely and currently located in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, or Nova Scotia.

  • Canadian base salary range of $192,000 to $202,500 CAD.
