Description

  • Translate business requirements into scalable financial data models and analytics solutions.
  • Own ambiguous data initiatives end-to-end from definition through delivery.
  • Design and automate dashboards, models, and reporting systems for decision-making.
  • Build and maintain data products supporting Revenue Accounting, including revenue recognition logic.
  • Apply compliance-first design principles to support SOX, audit readiness, and data governance.
  • Implement validation, monitoring, and reconciliation frameworks to ensure data integrity.
  • Identify and drive process optimization, automation, and system improvements across Finance and Accounting.
  • Use AI and next-generation analytics tools to improve financial data modeling, automation, and delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics or analytics engineering roles; 7+ years preferred.
  • Strong SQL and cloud data fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, and BI tools such as Mode, Looker, or Tableau.
  • Experience building and supporting complex data pipelines with emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and traceability.
  • Familiarity with financial data structures, accounting processes, and enterprise systems such as Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, or Adaptive.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Public company experience with SOX exposure preferred.
  • Background in a high-growth technology environment preferred.
  • Experience implementing large-scale financial or operational systems, such as ERP or enterprise data platforms, preferred.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Cloud cost management experience, ideally in AWS, preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML applications in data analytics, such as natural language SQL tools, forecasting models, or anomaly detection frameworks, preferred.

  • Base pay range of $126,000 to $133,000 CAD for candidates in Canada.
