Description

  • Develop and enhance iOS applications used by business clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features for the enterprise platform.
  • Participate in project roadmaps and help create user experiences that improve customer satisfaction and engagement.
  • Engage in code reviews to maintain high standards of software quality.
  • Work on strategic initiatives that expand platform capabilities and business value.
  • Contribute to scalable solutions for Instacart Business and broader B2B ecommerce offerings.
  • Partner with engineers, designers, and product managers across teams to co-create solutions.
  • Support product development from conception through deployment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in mobile development, software engineering, or related experience.
  • Experience developing iOS applications.
  • Experience with iOS fundamentals, including Swift, SwiftUI, and RxSwift.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort seeking and receiving feedback.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills.
  • Familiarity with agentic coding assistants like Claude Code or Cursor and the ability to use tools to accelerate delivery and impact.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work with engineers, designers, and PMs across multiple teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Interest in working across the full stack, across platforms, and owning delivery end to end.

Benefits

  • Remote role with Flex First work flexibility.
  • Highly market-competitive compensation.
  • Base salary range of $171,000-$180,500 USD in CA, NY, CT, and NJ.
  • Base salary range of $164,000-$173,000 USD in WA.
  • Base salary range of $157,000-$165,500 USD in OR, DE, ME, MA, MD, NH, RI, VT, DC, PA, VA, CO, TX, IL, and HI.
  • Base salary range of $142,000-$150,000 USD in all other states.
  • Eligible for a new hire equity grant.
  • Eligible for annual refresh grants.
