Description

  • Coach prospective law school applicants one-on-one to strengthen their candidate profiles and application materials.
  • Develop application strategies, including personal statements, essays, resumes, recommendations, and interview preparation.
  • Advise students and families on law school selection and the end-to-end admissions process.
  • Identify suitable law schools and programs based on each student's background and goals.
  • Provide guidance on law school research, admissions resources, and application requirements.
  • Manage student project plans, application timelines, and progress through internal tools.
  • Stay current on law school admissions trends, processes, and programs.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a U.S. law school.
  • Experience serving on a law school admissions committee, including reviewing applications and making admissions decisions.
  • Experience mentoring pre-law students through the law school admissions process, particularly applicants to T-14 U.S. law schools.
  • Strong English reading, writing, and editing skills for personal statements and application essays.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple students, deadlines, and application timelines.
  • Passion for student mentorship and education.
  • Ability to work as a part-time, remote 1099 contractor based in the United States or Canada.
