Description

  • Work with customers and end users to gather requirements, clarify data readiness, and communicate file format specifications during implementation and conversion.
  • Perform system and data analysis, troubleshoot conversion errors, assess downstream impact, and document root cause findings.
  • Build and configure systems from design specifications and validate that configurations meet requirements.
  • Maintain project deliverables within the assigned scope of work.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support planned conversion events outside standard business hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Collaborate across the full client lifecycle, including implementation, go-live, and optimization.
  • Adhere to confidentiality, HIPAA, regulatory, and other applicable policies and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with Inovalon policies, procedures, and mission requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience on technical projects in a consulting, analyst, developer, or solution engineering capacity.
  • Hands-on experience with web services, APIs, and system integrations.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Familiarity with data normalization principles, flat file formats, and data conversion processes.
  • Comfort working with technical tools such as development environments, system configuration, and log or source code analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and clear documentation of findings.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliverables in a project environment.
  • Strong customer-facing communication skills and the ability to stay composed and professional under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Healthcare technology experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Curiosity and willingness to develop domain expertise are expected.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field is strongly preferred.
  • Equivalent healthcare technology experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.
