Description

  • Develop and implement APIs on the APIGEE API management platform for internal and external projects.
  • Work with designers, developers, and architects on solution discussions and API implementation details.
  • Participate in the full lifecycle of API delivery, including design, development, governance, and testing support.
  • Create and maintain API specs and design documents for enterprise-level integrations.
  • Configure and apply APIGEE policies for security, throttling, and data transformation.
  • Support API security implementation, including authentication and encryption requirements.
  • Provide regular status updates to team leads, project managers, and stakeholders in daily, weekly, and monthly meetings.
  • Contribute to E2E testing activities and resolve implementation issues related to design compliance.
  • Work within the KSA timezone and collaborate remotely with cross-functional project teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in systems integration, including hands-on API development and API management solutions.
  • Experience implementing enterprise-level APIs for large-scale organizations using APIGEE.
  • Strong experience with APIGEE policies related to security, throttling, and data transformation.
  • Experience with API security mechanisms such as Basic Auth, OAuth2 flows, and SSL mutual authentication.
  • Experience using JavaScript scripts within APIGEE.
  • Strong understanding of API design and experience writing API specs and design documents.
  • Clear understanding of APIGEE on-premise and cloud infrastructure and components.
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Deep knowledge of RESTful API principles, REST, JSON, SOAP, and XML.
  • Must have experience with OpenAPI (Swagger) specification.
  • Strong understanding of security protocols and networking requirements for API and service exposure.
  • Working knowledge of DevOps, CI, and CD practices.
  • Experience with design/development governance principles and guidelines.
  • Experience with enterprise integration patterns and frameworks.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Availability to work within KSA timezone and remote workdays.
  • Experience with API management tools such as APIGEE, SoftwareAG, or IBM, or similar technologies (preferred).
  • Familiarity with TM Forum OpenAPIs or similar industry OpenAPI specifications (preferred).
  • Familiarity with the APIGEE on-premise DevPortal (preferred).
  • Familiarity with APIGEE multi-tenancy (preferred).
  • Familiarity with other Google Cloud products and technologies (preferred).
