Description

  • Own the Medicaid product across federal reporting, analytics, agentic workflows, and Medicaid-specific platform capabilities.
  • Set Medicaid product direction and drive the development roadmap with engineering.
  • Run discovery and requirements gathering directly with state Medicaid agencies.
  • Translate Medicaid policy changes, including eligibility redetermination cycles and federal legislation, into product decisions.
  • Define agentic workflows and predictive analytics for Medicaid operations and oversight.
  • Serve as the product subject matter expert for Medicaid pursuits and RFP responses.
  • Own product areas touching federal submissions with clear accountability.
  • Support platform capabilities aligned to Medicaid and MMIS/MES-related needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience with deep Medicaid experience.
  • Experience in state Medicaid agency operations, Medicaid managed care, or both.
  • Strong understanding of federal reporting frameworks and Medicaid analytics across quality, cost, claims, MCO performance, and eligibility.
  • Familiarity with the MMIS / MES landscape and Medicaid data.
  • Experience with AI or agentic capabilities in a regulated environment.
  • Judgment on when automation should be used and when a human should remain in the loop.
  • US-based and able to work across state Medicaid agency relationships.
  • Preferred: prior product work with state Medicaid agencies or Medicaid technology vendors.
  • Preferred: exposure to CMS certification contexts, such as streamlined modular certification.
  • Preferred: current working knowledge of redetermination and recent Medicaid policy change.
