Description

  • Develop, run, and maintain automated test scripts for critical web application workflows using Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
  • Create robust tests to validate UI functionality, workflows, and data integrity across the product suite.
  • Collaborate with QA engineers and developers to define high-value test scenarios and automate critical user journeys.
  • Implement test plans covering functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
  • Monitor automated test runs, analyze failures, and document issues for timely resolution.
  • Maintain testing artifacts such as test plans, cases, scripts, and defect records in the repository.
  • Report testing progress, coverage gaps, quality risks, and key quality metrics to the team.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to improve test design, scripting, debugging, and maintenance.
  • Continue learning the product domain, including public health workflows, privacy requirements, security, and accessibility standards.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in software testing, including QA automation.
  • Hands-on experience writing automation scripts for web applications.
  • Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver or similar UI automation tools; familiarity with Playwright is a plus.
  • Competency in at least one test automation language, with Python or TypeScript preferred.
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test case design, and the bug life cycle.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps in an Agile environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience/certifications.
  • Exposure to AI/ML tools for test generation or analysis, such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT, is highly valued.
  • Preferred: experience with API testing, performance testing, healthcare or public sector software, HL7, AWS/Azure, or Docker.
