Description

  • Coordinate internal and external referral orders for specialty care, imaging, prior authorizations, and other related orders.
  • Support members by phone and messaging to ensure referrals and orders are completed and routed to the correct external providers.
  • Assist patients with facility maps, location details, and direct dial numbers.
  • Coordinate medical records, imaging, and procedural results so external providers have the information needed before appointments.
  • Maintain and manage electronic medical records and records requests.
  • Assist providers with completing patient forms, including Medical Opinion forms and SSI Disability forms, when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with providers, the care team, patient support, and compliance teams.
  • Handle a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to take meticulous notes and document actions taken.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite or related software.
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to creatively solve problems.
  • Work experience in a physician's office or medical institution with exposure to managed care and primary care rules and practices.
  • Ability to be self-sufficient and use resources effectively to answer questions.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities at once.

Benefits

  • Full-time contract position.
  • Hourly pay of $19.00 in the United States.
  • Pay determined by work location, skills, experience, and internal equity.
