Description

  • Own business development from prospecting through contract execution and handoff to implementation across Medicaid managed care, commercial insurance, provider organizations, and state markets.
  • Develop relationships with senior health plan stakeholders and state Medicaid leaders as the primary executive contact for the portfolio.
  • Lead value-based care contract negotiations with payers, including deal terms, pricing, and structure.
  • Set risk modeling and deal structure strategy and present recommendations to senior executives.
  • Shape market prioritization, go-to-market strategy, growth planning, and expansion opportunities.
  • Track Medicaid programs, RFP cycles, and policy trends affecting children with complex medical needs.
  • Coordinate finance, legal, clinical, and implementation leaders as deals progress toward launch.
  • Provide executive and board updates on pipeline, deal strategy, and growth priorities.
  • Represent Imagine Pediatrics at industry conferences, state engagements, and executive meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or related graduate degree strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive healthcare experience across health plans, medical groups, providers, or healthcare delivery organizations.
  • Proven experience leading value-based care payer negotiations from origination through contract execution, including financial analysis and deal strategy.
  • Experience building relationships with senior health plan executives; Medicaid managed care experience strongly preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of value-based care programs, risk arrangements, and Medicaid managed care markets.
  • Prior strategy experience in management consulting, banking, or corporate strategy preferred.
  • Experience managing, mentoring, and developing direct reports, including people managers.
  • Executive presence and ability to influence C-level stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Ability to operate as both a strategic leader and hands-on player-coach in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%.

  • Base salary of $210,000–$250,000 plus annual bonus incentive.
