Description

  • Design, deploy, and troubleshoot critical infrastructure across the organization.
  • Perform core system administration functions for Linux, Windows, VMware, Citrix, and NAS/SAN environments.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows-based systems.
  • Administer and support VMware infrastructure and related virtualized environments.
  • Manage storage infrastructure, including NAS and SAN systems.
  • Support DNS, mail services such as SMTP, IMAP, and POP, and SFTP services.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7/365 support.
  • Work in US time zones as part of the extended staffing model.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to support mission-critical services.

Requirements

  • 5 to 12 years of hands-on experience in Linux, Windows, VMware, G-Suite, and storage administration.
  • Experience with Linux server builds, administration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Microsoft server OS and Active Directory administration.
  • Experience with VMware infrastructure administration and configuration.
  • Experience with AWS cloud is highly desirable.
  • Experience with RAS tools such as Citrix and Parallels RAS server administration.
  • Experience with G-Suite administration and SSO integration with G-Suite and Active Directory.
  • Experience with building and managing high-throughput database servers on Linux.
  • Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, and Kickstart.
  • Good scripting skills in Shell, Perl, Python, or similar languages.
  • Experience with server backups, data recovery tools, and technologies such as NetBackup.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware subsystems and storage subsystems, including NetApp, EMC, and Pure storage.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • F5 DNS/load balancer knowledge is a plus.
