Description

  • Research, evaluate, and report on new AI products, releases, and agentic capabilities.
  • Lead scoping and other pre-sales processes as a Solution Architect.
  • Serve as the primary delivery contact for the Anthropic partnership and support joint go-to-market and co-development efforts.
  • Define and refine best practices for the AI for Nonprofits specialization.
  • Collaborate on AI implementation methodology and process documentation.
  • Champion responsible AI principles, including transparency, data privacy, bias mitigation, and ethical use.
  • Develop standards for AI proof-of-concept and MVP evaluation with clients and internal teams.
  • Mentor consultants and contribute to performance reviews, talent development, and training.
  • Assure service quality through project audits and common practice assessments.
  • Lead project teams and translate client requirements into well-architected AI solutions using Claude and integrated applications.
  • Support sales and services teams with implementation estimates and level-of-effort assessments.
  • Guide project teams through discovery, use case identification, prompt engineering, agent configuration, QA, and user acceptance testing.

Requirements

  • Excellent client-facing written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and integrate AI capabilities across disparate systems.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience designing and deploying generative AI or LLM-based solutions in a consulting or enterprise context.
  • Minimum 3 years of nonprofit sector experience with familiarity in fundraising, case management, program delivery, advocacy, and volunteer management.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience using story mapping methodology to capture business requirements.
  • Minimum 3 years leading technology implementation project teams.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience using Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Strong subject matter expertise in nonprofit solutioning.
  • Platform expertise in AI tools, LLM-based products, and agentic workflow configuration.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Desire to learn new things and take on challenges.
  • Preferred experience working in the Idealist Way or an equivalent delivery methodology.
  • Preferred direct experience with Anthropic Claude, the Claude API, or enterprise AI platforms such as AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, or Google Vertex AI.
  • Preferred track record delivering Claude-specific solutions.
  • Preferred Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud Consultant certification or equivalent nonprofit CRM expertise.
  • Preferred experience building or managing an AI practice, center of excellence, or emerging technology offering.
  • Preferred PMP certification or similar.
  • Preferred published thought leadership, conference presentations, or community contributions in AI, nonprofit technology, or responsible tech.
