Description

  • Coordinate project management activities for pilot program initiatives across planning, execution, and evaluation phases.
  • Manage project schedules, priorities, risks, issues, dependencies, action items, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with leadership, project teams, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to support successful execution.
  • Support Agile program management and change management activities, including stakeholder engagement, readiness, implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct and support data analysis to monitor program performance, evaluate metrics and trends, and produce actionable insights.
  • Develop executive-level reports, dashboards, presentations, and briefings for program leadership and senior stakeholders.
  • Support strategic communications to maintain consistent messaging and alignment across program teams.
  • Document meeting decisions, action items, and follow-up activities during project meetings and leadership briefings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Project Management, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional project management experience planning, coordinating, and executing projects from initiation through completion.
  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to monitor progress and align on objectives, timelines, and priorities.
  • Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint, or similar platforms.
  • Experience developing project plans, schedules, status reports, dashboards, and other project management artifacts.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Management, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • 5 or more years of professional experience in a project management environment is preferred.
  • Experience working directly with federal government clients, preferably the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), or other federal healthcare agencies, is preferred.
  • Experience leading projects, workstreams, or cross-functional teams is preferred.
  • Experience developing executive-level reports, dashboards, presentations, and briefings for senior leadership is preferred.
  • Experience facilitating project meetings, stakeholder discussions, and leadership briefings is preferred.
