Description

  • Develop and own data-driven SEO strategies tailored to each client’s e-commerce goals.
  • Manage multiple SEO client accounts with full ownership of strategy, execution, and outcomes.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, technical audits, and content planning.
  • Implement on-page, technical, and off-page SEO improvements across client websites.
  • Optimize product pages, category structures, internal linking, and site architecture for large e-commerce catalogs.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and marketers to ensure SEO recommendations are implemented correctly.
  • Adapt SEO strategies for evolving search environments, including LLM-powered search, AEO, and GEO.
  • Proactively identify SEO risks, technical issues, and growth opportunities before they affect performance.
  • Monitor performance using analytics and SEO tools, then refine strategies based on data and results.
  • Prepare clear reports, recommendations, and structured documentation for clients and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Approximately 4 to 5 years of hands-on SEO experience focused on e-commerce websites and organic growth.
  • Proven track record of improving organic traffic, rankings, and revenue through SEO strategy execution.
  • Experience delivering SEO services in a client-facing capacity, ideally with U.S.-based clients.
  • Previous agency or freelance experience managing multiple SEO clients simultaneously.
  • Strong technical SEO knowledge, including site architecture, crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, and structured data.
  • Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, or similar.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered search, LLM-driven discovery, Answer Engine Optimization, and Generative Engine Optimization.
  • High proficiency with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
  • Strong analytical ability to turn audits, datasets, and reports into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, including client presentations.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and handle multiple accounts and deadlines with strong organization.
  • Must be available and responsive during standard office hours in Slovenia and able to work full-time.
  • Must have a stable internet connection and a reliable laptop or PC suitable for professional SEO work.

Benefits

  • Fixed-rate monthly salary paid in USD.
  • Full-time contractor arrangement after signing the non-disclosure agreement.
  • Trial and adaptation period of the first two months paid at full rate.
  • Regular performance reviews every 9 to 12 months, with the first review after 3 to 6 months.
  • Role and workload re-evaluated after 6 to 12 months.
