Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end solutions primarily using Ruby on Rails.
  • Deliver code quickly and efficiently to support rapid value delivery and testing.
  • Implement efficient data pipelines to extract relevant information from large volumes of noisy data.
  • Collaborate with security researchers to understand attack methods and develop countermeasures.
  • Provide technical leadership, including architectural and design direction for the team.
  • Improve solution quality through code reviews, manual testing, and automated testing.
  • Set engineering standards and develop processes that improve team efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers on larger projects, including breaking down ambiguous work and validating designs.
  • Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders on technical decisions and project execution.
  • Design systems and architecture capable of processing petabytes of data efficiently.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience developing complex software products.
  • 5+ years of programming experience with Ruby on Rails.
  • Experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code.
  • Experience working with relational databases such as Postgres.
  • Ability to work across the stack on UI, data models, event ingestion, and automated detection systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and think creatively in undefined problem spaces.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading technical projects.
  • Experience with cybersecurity or security-focused products is a plus.
