Description

Design, implement, and ship end-to-end AI features with a focus on user experience, measurement, observability, and performance.
Architect and deliver scalable systems that handle high data volumes and complex workflows reliably and quickly.
Improve grounding quality through permission-safe retrieval, citations, and evaluations to make AI outputs auditable and dependable.
Optimize latency and cost to create fast, seamless user interactions.
Collaborate with Product and Design from discovery through iteration to define and refine AI product direction.
Prototype ideas and take projects from concept to production with autonomy.
Work closely with other engineers to build scalable, secure, and auditable systems.
Iterate on existing AI features such as the context-aware AI Assistant and Review Agent.

Requirements

Experience shipping 0-1 products to real users, ideally AI products.
Strong backend engineering experience.
Data fluency and operational maturity.
Deep care for quality, testing, and security.
Curiosity and creativity to learn new technologies and solve unfamiliar problems.
Ability to refine ideas and improve through collaboration.
Strong product intuition and communication skills.
Experience with OpenSearch or other vector databases (preferred).
Experience with Snowflake, Langfuse, or similar evaluation frameworks (preferred).
Familiarity with fintech and compliance domains (preferred).
Experience with AWS, Azure, PostgreSQL, Redis, Terraform, CircleCI, Nix, Docker, Ruby/Rails, Python, OpenAI, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, GraphQL, or d3 (technologies used and taught).
