Description

  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and Consultants to understand requirements and recommend best-practice solutions.
  • Develop and enhance ABAP RICEFW objects, including DDIC, reports, ALV, user exits, BAdIs, enhancement framework components, BAPIs, RFCs, and module pool programs.
  • Contribute to integrations using SOAP and REST APIs in line with agreed interface and SOA patterns.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize SAP solutions for performance, stability, and maintainability.
  • Perform unit testing and support SIT/UAT activities.
  • Develop and maintain Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, and BDC objects when applicable.
  • Create technical documentation such as design documents, specifications, and handover notes.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying optimization opportunities and reducing recurring issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience with strong exposure to RICEFW objects.
  • Solid expertise in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization within SAP environments.
  • Practical experience with at least one core SAP functional module such as FICO, HCM, or BCM.
  • Good understanding of Object-Oriented ABAP (OO-ABAP) and Web Services, including SOAP and REST-based integrations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • SAP ABAP certification is a plus.
  • Exposure to Workflow development, enhancements, troubleshooting, or upgrade/migration projects is preferred.
  • Knowledge of ABAP CDS entities and SAP BTP is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAP modules such as Loan Management, Cash Management, Treasury, or eTravel is preferred.
