Description

  • Design scalable product concepts across multiple platforms and content types from early business needs through final implementation.
  • Develop and refine design ideas by brainstorming new concepts while improving current user experiences.
  • Work within and extend the design system to strengthen the product’s design language.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and data analytics teams to create the best user experience.
  • Gather and incorporate feedback from teammates throughout the design process.
  • Create intuitive experiences that account for business requirements and technical complexity.
  • Communicate design rationale clearly both verbally and visually.
  • Help and mentor other designers in a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

  • Portfolio demonstrating shipped product design work and problem-solving for user needs.
  • Deep understanding of the problem being solved and ability to balance user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints.
  • Excellent verbal and visual communication skills.
  • Understanding of product design trends, including interaction patterns for web and mobile.
  • Smart, motivated, and self-directed with the ability to learn quickly.
  • Collaborative mindset with a desire to help and mentor other designers.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing, cross-time-zone environment.
  • Growth mindset and eagerness to learn from feedback (preferred).
  • Interest in design systems and how components create consistency at scale (preferred).
  • Exposure to user research, including interviews or usability testing, and using insights to improve designs (preferred).
