Description

  • Bid out, manage, and negotiate contracts for home renovation projects.
  • Submit invoices, track project budgets, and coordinate with Field Managers to ensure contract compliance.
  • Negotiate pricing and source products to reduce costs and improve renovation quality and appeal.
  • Partner with senior management to determine specification levels for renovation jobs.
  • Develop detailed scopes of work and budgets for each renovation project.
  • Manage, train, and terminate general contractors and subcontractors when needed.
  • Recruit new contractors and vendor relationships through networking and cold calling.
  • Ensure contractors are properly registered before starting work.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of purchasing experience with a major home builder and remodeling company.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Some Spanish language ability is preferred.
  • Experience managing contractors, subcontractors, or vendor relationships is relevant.
  • Ability to work in a 100% remote role.
  • Experience with bidding, budgeting, and contract negotiation in renovation or construction environments.
