Description

  • Create and present engaging long-form videos and Shorts for Spanish-speaking audiences.
  • Own the full local production workflow from ideation and scripting through recording, publishing, and optimization.
  • Shape localized content strategy by setting goals, adding regional insights, and monitoring competitors.
  • Track video performance, analyze retention and growth metrics, and apply data-driven improvements.
  • Collaborate with freelance editors, scriptwriters, and the broader YouTube team on content development and execution.
  • Handle video uploads, metadata optimization, thumbnail A/B testing, and SOP maintenance.
  • Experiment with new formats, hooks, and structures to improve content performance and audience engagement.
  • Contribute to quarterly planning and support the channel’s evolution toward more entertaining, human-centered educational content.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in content creation with proven on-camera work, preferably for YouTube.
  • Native-level Spanish language skills.
  • Strong acting, presentation, and on-camera delivery skills.
  • Experience with YouTube retention strategies, content optimization, and platform-specific performance factors.
  • Creative writing ability to structure content, localize scripts, and adapt messaging for Spanish-speaking audiences.
  • Experience managing multiple projects independently with strong organization and deadline ownership.
  • Knowledge of video production fundamentals and visual storytelling principles.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills for working with remote teams and freelancers.
  • Ability to balance creative judgment with performance data and defend ideas with clear reasoning.
  • Spanish market knowledge, including competitor monitoring and identifying local content opportunities.
  • Preferred: experience with multicultural teams, the tech/web-building niche, AI-powered editing or writing tools, video strategy or analytics, or cross-platform content for TikTok and Instagram.
