Description

  • Conduct economic and financial research to assess investment trends and market conditions.
  • Prepare investment exhibits and supporting materials for the 10K, financial notes, Investment Committee, and other internal and external audiences.
  • Prepare investment portions of STAT MD&A and STAT audited files.
  • Analyze and make recommendations regarding securities for impairment.
  • Establish monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results to support senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and company policies.
  • Manage deliverable expectations and deadlines with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial systems, reporting methods, and process efficiency.
  • Streamline processes through automation and improved reporting workflows.
  • Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to improve financial process accuracy and data integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, data manipulation, or process improvement through technology.
  • Ability to manipulate and rationalize large datasets.
  • Knowledge of financial modeling.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to interpret and apply financial and analytical techniques effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail, strong organization, and a team-oriented attitude.

Benefits

  • Pay range of $61,900.00 - $91,300.00.
