Description

  • Assess territories available for sale and prioritize acquisition opportunities based on growth potential and operational considerations.
  • Develop territory valuations in collaboration with Finance and Operations to inform bidding strategy.
  • Create negotiation strategy, deal terms, and LOIs for transactions.
  • Develop a medium-term transaction roadmap that identifies future acquisition targets and supports network-shaping strategy.
  • Lead end-to-end franchise acquisition processes from indication of interest through transaction close.
  • Run cross-functional due diligence with Finance, Operations, Legal, and other key stakeholders.
  • Develop and improve the transaction playbook to increase execution speed and post-close ROI.
  • Execute transactions in line with the playbook while keeping stakeholders aligned throughout the process.
  • Track, analyze, and present KPIs across acquired territories.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities versus the deal thesis and recommend action plans with Finance and Operating teams.
  • Deliver clear, actionable insights to executive leadership to support data-informed decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5–7 years of experience in management consulting, corporate development, small business M&A, mid-market private equity, or corporate strategy.
  • Strong track record of leading cross-functional projects with stakeholders in Operations, Legal, and Finance.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage deal models and assess valuations.
  • Proven success driving transactions with banks, private equity, or other institutional investors preferred.
  • Experience in franchise M&A is a plus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with advanced AI-based tools such as Claude Cowork is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, commercial, and communication skills are expected.
  • Ability to manage deal processes from diligence through close with accountability and precision.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment with senior stakeholders.
