Description

  • Design, build, and deliver backend systems and APIs in Go with a focus on clarity, maintainability, and backward compatibility.
  • Build and maintain full-stack product features across React/TypeScript frontend code and Go backend services.
  • Collaborate closely with design and product partners in a product triad from discovery through delivery.
  • Support software in production through on-call rotations and proactive response to user pain points.
  • Provide technical leadership by defining engineering patterns and operational guidelines.
  • Plan, lead, and deliver complex multi-team projects while aligning stakeholders and mentoring teammates.
  • Communicate regularly in writing and verbally, and contribute to feedback and team collaboration.
  • Help shape billing and pricing infrastructure, access control capabilities, and new customer-facing usage and enterprise authorization features.

Requirements

  • Substantial experience designing, building, and maintaining backend systems and APIs.
  • Professional experience with Go or similar backend languages.
  • Professional frontend experience with React and TypeScript.
  • Experience owning projects end-to-end from planning through deployment and maintenance.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical design reviews.
  • Experience shipping production features and resolving production incidents; on-call experience preferred.
  • Strong system design, error handling, and developer experience judgment.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally and adapting to changing customer or business priorities.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor.
  • Experience implementing authentication or authorization solutions such as RBAC, OAuth, SSO, or SAML.
  • Experience with billing and usage-based pricing systems for SaaS products is a nice to have.
  • Ability to verify identity and eligibility to work; visa transfer sponsorship is not currently available.

  • Base salary of $183,340 to $205,000 USD, depending on level of experience.
