Description

  • Create a wide range of visual assets including in-game items, pack content, level backgrounds, environments, characters, illustrations, icons, and supporting UI elements.
  • Collaborate closely with game designers to translate gameplay concepts into compelling, readable art that supports both game feel and clarity.
  • Develop color keys and visual directions for new content to define artistic direction and ensure visual consistency.
  • Contribute creatively to the overall look and feel of the game, bringing strong artistic sensibility and attention to detail to every asset.
  • Work alongside artists, designers, and AI specialists to refine and elevate assets to near-final quality, leveraging AI tools where appropriate.
  • Adapt style and deliver a variety of visual assets across the production pipeline, from concept to polished deliverables.
  • Iterate on assets based on feedback and data to maintain and improve visual quality across releases.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in 2D game art with a portfolio demonstrating relevant work.
  • Strong foundation in perspective, lighting, color theory, composition, and visual storytelling.
  • Experience working on or a strong affinity for stylized, cartoonish casual games and creating appealing, readable visuals for broad audiences.
  • Excellent drawing skills and a sharp eye for detail.
  • High proficiency in Photoshop with the ability to produce polished, high-quality assets efficiently.
  • Ability to adapt artistic style and produce a variety of asset types (items, environments, characters, illustrations, icons, UI elements).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams, including AI specialists.
  • Comfort collaborating in English and ideally located or able to work within European time zones (UTC to UTC+3); willingness to occasionally attend team gatherings/off-sites.
