Description

  • Own end-to-end customer billing lifecycle, including invoice generation, validation, and delivery across multiple currencies.
  • Manage monthly billing cycles for subscription and usage-based invoicing and execute scheduled and off-cycle bill runs, including invoices for newly closed deals.
  • Submit invoices through customer AP portals and ensure timely and accurate invoice distribution.
  • Maintain billing schedules, contract updates, and customer master data in NetSuite SuiteBilling.
  • Respond to customer billing inquiries, investigate and resolve discrepancies or disputes, and communicate billing changes with Sales and Customer Success.
  • Monitor AR aging, conduct weekly AR aging reviews, and proactively manage collections activities using automated dunning and direct outreach.
  • Communicate with customers regarding overdue balances, remittances, and payment plans and support collection negotiations as needed.
  • Support month-end close activities related to AR and bad debt considerations and provide documentation for internal audits and financial reporting.
  • Reconcile billing and usage data between NetSuite, Salesforce, and internal systems, validate billing logic, and analyze billing/collections data to identify process improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in Billing, Accounts Receivable, Revenue Operations, or related finance roles (SaaS or recurring billing experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong understanding of subscription billing and usage-based billing processes in a SaaS environment.
  • Hands-on experience with billing systems, ideally NetSuite SuiteBilling (and ARM) or equivalent platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas).
  • Experience with Salesforce and reconciling data across multiple systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence engaging directly with customers.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills and the ability to manage competing priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with AR processes including dunning, collections outreach, multi-currency invoicing, and month-end close activities.
