Description

  • Provide Tier 1–2 support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Handle employee onboarding and offboarding, Microsoft 365 account setup, and permissions management.
  • Administer device management using Apple Business Essentials and Intune.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user issues while guiding staff on IT best practices and secure system usage.
  • Manage AWS and Azure environments, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and cost efficiency.
  • Support Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, and hybrid infrastructure.
  • Maintain backups, monitoring, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Automate repetitive administrative tasks where possible.
  • Configure and support LAN/WAN, VPN, wireless networks, and Cisco devices.
  • Apply security policies, patches, endpoint protections, and support audits and compliance reporting.
  • Support infrastructure upgrades, SaaS integrations, security initiatives, application deployments, testing, and documentation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with IT leadership and engineering teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or IT Support Specialist.
  • Strong experience with AWS and Azure administration.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows Server, and Linux systems.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLANs.
  • Experience with scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-service mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Certifications such as AWS SysOps Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CompTIA Security+, or Cisco CCNA preferred.
  • Previous experience supporting IT projects in mid-to-large organizations preferred.
  • Familiarity with Asana, Jira, or similar ticketing and project systems preferred.
  • Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps and a backup connection of at least 10 Mbps.
  • Desktop or laptop with at least an Intel Core i5 8th generation or newer, Intel Core i3 10th generation or newer, AMD Ryzen 5, or equivalent processor, plus 8 GB RAM minimum.
  • Backup device that meets or exceeds the performance of an Intel Core i3 and can function during power interruptions.
  • A functioning webcam, a noise-canceling USB headset, a quiet dedicated home office space, and a smartphone for communication and verification.
