Description

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, and market research.
  • Qualify leads by assessing business needs, purchasing potential, and fit with company offerings.
  • Maintain accurate lead records in CRM systems and sales databases.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure timely follow-up and effective conversion of leads.
  • Monitor and manage the sales pipeline to support consistent progression through the funnel.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective wholesale customers, distributors, and business partners.
  • Track lead generation activities and performance metrics and provide regular reports to management.
  • Support marketing initiatives, campaigns, trade shows, and other lead generation efforts.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify new opportunities and industry trends.
  • Continuously improve lead generation processes to increase efficiency and conversion rates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in lead generation, sales, business development, or a related role.
  • Experience in the wholesale distribution industry is preferred.
  • Proven ability to generate, qualify, and manage leads throughout the sales cycle.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales tracking tools.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business productivity tools.
  • Internet connection with at least 15 Mbps primary speed and 10 Mbps backup speed, with backup connectivity during power outages.
  • Desktop or laptop meeting minimum hardware requirements, including Intel Core i5 8th gen or newer, Intel Core i3 10th gen or newer, AMD Ryzen 5, or equivalent, plus 8 GB RAM.
  • Backup device capable of at least Intel Core i3-level performance and functional during power interruptions.
  • Functioning webcam, noise-canceling USB headset, quiet dedicated home office space, and smartphone for communication and verification.
