Description

  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, attorneys, medical providers, and insurance companies.
  • Open and manage new personal injury cases, performing intake and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Maintain accurate, organized case files including medical records, bills, and client communications.
  • Track treatment progress and follow up with providers to obtain records, reports, and invoices.
  • Support attorneys with case preparation by drafting correspondence, organizing discovery, and managing timelines.
  • Manage calendars, deadlines, and coordinate hearings, depositions, and mediations.
  • Prepare settlement demands and assist with medical lien negotiations.
  • Provide proactive, empathetic communication to clients throughout the lifecycle of the case.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a Case Manager in a Personal Injury law firm.
  • Strong knowledge of personal injury workflows, including medical record requests, demand drafting, lien negotiation, and litigation support.
  • Proficiency with case management software such as Clio, Filevine, Needles, or similar platforms.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English; role is advertised as bilingual (English/Spanish) though the posting also notes Spanish as a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Full-time availability aligned with U.S. business hours with required PST coverage.
  • Independent Contractor engagement and prior remote work experience supporting U.S.-based law firms (preferred).
  • Experience with California cases and local court procedures (nice-to-have).
  • Familiarity with medical billing and lien resolution (nice-to-have).
