Description

  • Create engaging social media content for Chinese platforms, especially Xiaohongshu (RED) and WeChat.
  • Develop content ideas based on Chinese social media trends, cultural moments, and audience preferences.
  • Adapt global campaigns into locally relevant content for Chinese audiences.
  • Create simple visual assets using AI-powered tools and lightweight design platforms.
  • Support content planning, campaign execution, and social media calendars.
  • Ensure content aligns with brand voice while remaining authentic for Chinese audiences.
  • Use AI tools to support content ideation, copy generation, creative concepts, and visual content creation.
  • Collaborate with regional marketing teams and share insights on Chinese market trends.

Requirements

  • Native-level Mandarin Chinese with strong English communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of Chinese social media platforms, especially Xiaohongshu (RED) and WeChat.
  • Proven experience creating content for Chinese audiences.
  • Strong understanding of Chinese internet culture, trends, and audience behaviour.
  • Experience localising global campaigns for the China market.
  • Comfortable using AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, Adobe Firefly, Adobe Express, Midjourney, and DALL·E.
  • Comfortable creating simple social media visuals using Canva, Figma, Photoshop, or similar tools.
  • Able to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
  • Available for 60 hours per month.
