Description

  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, governance, and quality standards to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Oversee daily project progress and coordinate cross-functional teams across functional, technical, OCM, and business groups.
  • Plan, execute, and coordinate Oracle system implementation projects from initiation through cutover.
  • Communicate project status regularly to key stakeholders and manage client expectations on timelines, deliverables, and change requests.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive project execution plans, including milestones and methodology considerations.
  • Create budgets, schedules, and plans to track project performance, changes, and issues.
  • Manage test cycles and cutover activities using testing tools such as JIRA and HP ALM.
  • Establish project governance processes, including RACI, escalation paths, and change management.
  • Track overall progress, identify risks and challenges early, and drive risk-free delivery.
  • Maintain proactive communication to support client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 14+ years of experience leading or managing Oracle Cloud projects in HCM, ERP, or SCM.
  • Experience managing at least 3 end-to-end ERP or HCM implementations in the Oracle Cloud space.
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end implementation cycle and key aspects of risk-free delivery.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project Plan (MPP) to build project execution plans.
  • Experience managing test cycles and cutover using tools such as JIRA and HP ALM.
  • Experience managing client expectations for timelines, deliverables, and change requests.
  • Experience creating project budgets, plans, and schedules to track performance, changes, and issues.
  • Experience establishing project governance, including RACI, escalation paths, and change management processes.
  • Preferred experience with finance and HR modules to anticipate project needs.
  • Preferred experience with project forecasting, actual vs. planned hours burn, and revenue/time tracking tools.
  • Preferred experience leading or managing GPS projects such as State & Local, Higher Ed, or Universities.
  • Preferred expertise in Agile methodology and JIRA.
  • Preferred experience drafting testing strategies and cutover plans.
  • Fluent oral and written communication skills.
  • PMP certification is an added advantage.
