Description

  • Design, create, maintain, and automate mobile test cases for iOS and Android apps using BDD frameworks and tools like Appium, Flutter Driver, or similar.
  • Write declarative-style tests and perform multi-platform functional testing across different environments.
  • Develop tools and reporting to improve testing efficiency, debug failures, and communicate automation results.
  • Identify, isolate (in source code and app), report, track, and drive defects (functional and non-functional) to closure.
  • Review product requirements and change requests (Git, ClickUp) and provide feedback on business completeness, testability, and QA level-of-effort estimates.
  • Support bi-weekly release regression testing via automation and manual testing and provide release sign-offs.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report test automation results and metrics.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners and developers in an agile environment to improve testing processes and product quality.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in mobile testing, API testing, and mobile automation (Appium, Flutter Driver, Espresso, or similar).
  • Programming ability in at least one language such as Java, Dart, or Kotlin.
  • Experience defining, designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks.
  • Ability to author manual test cases from product specifications and automate them as part of feature delivery.
  • Experience identifying and root-causing automation test failures and app issues.
  • Experience supporting release/regression cycles and providing QA sign-offs.
  • Ability to formulate test strategies, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle, release metrics, and full product development lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with tools/workflow components mentioned (e.g., Git, ClickUp) and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team.
