Description

  • Ensure the availability, scalability, and security of cloud services across multiple geographies.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow Site Reliability Engineering teams and leaders.
  • Define the SRE vision and drive the organization’s transition to an SRE and DevOps operating model.
  • Improve automation, incident management, change management, capacity planning, monitoring, logging, and alerting practices.
  • Introduce AI-based tools to improve team effectiveness and operational outcomes.
  • Unify technologies, practices, and policies from disparate organizations into a cohesive operations team.
  • Develop and execute cloud infrastructure and operations strategy to support business growth and acquisitions.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure and monitoring-resource costs, including governance of cloud usage.
  • Partner with product development teams to enable delivery of new SaaS platform and hosted-product capabilities.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure and tooling budgets and evaluate new operational technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering and operations, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale AWS cloud platforms.
  • Deep understanding of modern SRE practices and principles.
  • Experience leading organizational transformation, change management, and process or culture change.
  • Hands-on experience using AI-driven tools to improve operations or team effectiveness.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure tools for monitoring, deployment, and security.
  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Must be located in the United States within the EST or CST time zone and able to travel up to 10%, including overnight travel.

  • Base salary of $200,000–$230,000 per year, plus variable compensation.
