Description

  • Own the agentic finance build roadmap by identifying, prioritising, building, testing, and iterating on AI agents that replace manual finance workflows.
  • Design and maintain automated data pipelines connecting SAP, Abacum, and Citi.
  • Build AI-driven validation layers to govern data quality across the finance stack.
  • Define and maintain the data classification and routing framework for finance AI workloads.
  • Ensure sensitive or export-controlled data never reaches public LLMs or unapproved systems.
  • Design self-healing workflows that detect errors, apply correction logic, and escalate only genuine exceptions to human review.
  • Monitor pipelines and agent behaviour using observability tooling such as LangSmith.
  • Partner with the ICS Lead and Legal to ensure automated workflows are audit-compliant and meet government contract data sovereignty requirements.

Requirements

  • Production-grade data pipeline experience in a finance, scale-up, defence, or regulated environment.
  • Hands-on SAP experience, including FI/CO data extraction, BAPIs, and OData services.
  • Strong production Python skills with pandas, requests, and FastAPI.
  • Strong SQL skills, including CTEs, window functions, and complex queries.
  • Experience integrating REST and SOAP APIs with tools such as Azure Data Factory, dbt, or Airflow.
  • Production experience designing and deploying AI agents, with frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
  • Understanding of accounting fundamentals, including double-entry bookkeeping, intercompany eliminations, and treasury reconciliation.
  • Awareness of data sovereignty requirements and export-control frameworks such as ITAR and EAR.
  • Ability to communicate technical work clearly across Finance, Engineering, Legal, and external auditors.
  • Experience with Abacum or an equivalent FP&A tool, or familiarity with on-premise or air-gapped LLM deployment for classified data environments (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of German at a business level (preferred).
