Description

  • Collect, review, and enter employee timecards for payroll processing.
  • Calculate wages, overtime, deductions, commissions, and federal, state, and local tax withholdings.
  • Create, verify, and send client invoices and manage accounts receivable.
  • Track outstanding balances and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Maintain compliance with payroll laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Ensure timely tax filings and payments are completed accurately.
  • Update payroll records for salary changes, benefits deductions, and exemptions.
  • Resolve pay inaccuracies and billing disputes to support employee satisfaction and client trust.
  • Prepare payroll, tax, and billing reports for management.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in payroll, billing, or accounting roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
  • Experience using payroll or accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to reconcile complex accounts.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for employee and client inquiries.
  • Ability to work remotely on an 8am–5pm EST schedule.
  • Availability to start as soon as possible.
  • Part-time availability with the potential to transition to full-time.
  • Experience in home care or agency billing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with payroll compliance and tax filing requirements is preferred.
