Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new facility launches, major hardware deployments, and site decommissioning activities.
  • Develop project plans covering scope, work breakdown structures, schedules, resource allocation, and budgets.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Operations, Tech, Real Estate, HR, and Procurement, along with external vendors and contractors.
  • Track project risks and dependencies, mitigate issues, and escalate critical risks to leadership with recommended solutions.
  • Oversee installation and commissioning of material handling equipment, IT infrastructure, and other operational systems.
  • Establish Go/No-Go criteria and lead readiness reviews before handoff to Operations.
  • Document and standardize launch processes, including post-mortem reporting and lessons learned.
  • Ensure launch timelines are met while minimizing business disruption and supporting operational readiness.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in high-stakes project management, preferably in logistics, e-commerce, or manufacturing.
  • Experience managing large-scale facility launches, capital expenditure projects, or complex hardware/system implementations.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to travel frequently, up to 50-75%, during critical project phases.
  • Familiarity with automated material handling systems (MHS), conveyor systems, and/or network infrastructure is highly desirable.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors on complex projects.
  • Hands-on project ownership in operational or technical environments is preferred.
