Description

  • Manage claim intake end to end, including FNOL processing, initial review, severity assignment, and escalation identification.
  • Monitor claims throughout their lifecycle by handling routine follow-ups, identifying aging or high-risk claims, and coordinating with adjusters.
  • Prepare and support bi-weekly claim reviews by compiling data, tracking action items, and maintaining TPA performance metrics.
  • Build, maintain, and validate dashboards and reports on claims, trends, KPIs, and loss data.
  • Analyze claims data to identify trends, emerging risks, and recurring root causes, and support action planning with internal stakeholders.
  • Track return-to-work progress for injured workers and maintain compliance-related data, including audit support and system updates.
  • Track and support subrogation and recovery efforts, including follow-ups on outstanding items and documentation.
  • Assist with insurance program administration, including exposure data collection, renewal support, and submission preparation.
  • Review claim files and collaborate with TPAs on reserve adequacy and claim strategy.
  • Partner cross-functionally and participate in calls with carriers, brokers, and TPAs to support claim oversight and program execution.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of risk management or insurance experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma considered with 2+ years of related risk management or insurance experience.
  • ARM, CPCU, CRM, AIC, or other risk/insurance designations preferred but not required.
  • Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities.
  • Power BI and/or RMIS experience is a plus.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and highly responsive to internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and shifting priorities.
  • Experience with claims, insurance operations, or risk management workflows is implied by the role.
