Description

  • Review and monitor purchase requests, invoices, and workflow approvals to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and vendor agreements while resolving accounts payable discrepancies.
  • Record and reconcile payroll transactions for employees and contractors, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Collaborate with HR to maintain accurate employee data for payroll purposes.
  • Manage payroll tax calculations and filings in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Handle payroll-related accruals, including PTO, bonuses, and contractor expenses.
  • Monitor and track expenses across multiple platforms and ensure proper accounting treatment.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations for AP, payroll, and accrual-related accounts and maintain GL coding accuracy.
  • Conduct flux analysis to explain significant financial variances and support month-end close reporting.
  • Collaborate with HR, Procurement, and Operations to resolve financial issues and provide timely information to stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation to increase efficiency and reduce errors in financial operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience with a focus on accounts payable, payroll processing, and month-end close.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
  • Experience with financial systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or SAP, and payroll platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with multi-entity or international payroll processing preferred.
  • Knowledge of process automation tools and software preferred.
  • Experience in flux analysis and financial forecasting preferred.
