Description

  • Support execution of Headout’s global and Indian corporate governance framework.
  • Manage end-to-end corporate secretarial processes, including board meetings, statutory registers, and ROC filings.
  • Oversee and support compliance across international subsidiaries in the US, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external advisors, auditors, consultants, and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance execution.
  • Drive timely completion of secretarial compliances and related corporate actions.
  • Improve legal and compliance workflows through automation and technology, including AI-enabled initiatives.
  • Work across labour law, health and safety compliance, and global governance frameworks.
  • Design trackers and structured processes to improve execution accuracy and efficiency.
  • Handle ambiguity in compliance requirements and independently move tasks to completion when needed.

Requirements

  • 6–7 years of relevant experience in legal and compliance roles, preferably in a fast-paced, multinational, or venture-backed environment.
  • Qualified Company Secretary (ICSI member) with an LL.B. degree.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Companies Act, 2013, corporate secretarial practices, and labour and health & safety laws.
  • Hands-on experience managing end-to-end secretarial processes and corporate actions.
  • Familiarity with global entity management and cross-border compliance requirements.
  • Experience with FEMA/RBI compliances, filings, and regulatory coordination.
  • Ability to design trackers, improve processes, and drive execution with high accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail with a zero-error mindset.
  • Ability to break down ambiguous compliance requirements and execute in a structured manner.
  • Exposure to data privacy frameworks such as GDPR and India’s DPDP Act is preferred.
  • Experience supporting international subsidiaries and multi-jurisdictional compliance is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven automation in legal and compliance workflows is preferred.
  • Experience drafting and reviewing standard commercial contracts such as NDAs, MSAs, and vendor agreements is preferred.
