Description

  • Lead the design and development of all user interface elements, including menus, navigation, HUD, and interface effects.
  • Translate complex game mechanics and systems into clear, intuitive player experiences.
  • Design interfaces that emphasize clarity and ease of use for systems-rich games.
  • Collaborate with Art, Narrative, and Gameplay teams to integrate the interface into the overall game experience.
  • Ensure functional consistency and clear communication across teams.
  • Champion accessibility and inclusive design best practices.
  • Develop UI/UX systems with a broad range of player customization options.
  • Mentor and supervise other UI/UX designers from concept through final integration.
  • Maintain high quality standards throughout development.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to support the team’s work.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of UI/UX design experience in the video game industry.
  • Strong leadership or management experience in a design role.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to communicate a clear vision to stakeholders, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Excellent command of current UI/UX tools.
  • Strong understanding of graphic design principles.
  • Experience with technical implementation pipelines.
  • Expertise in usability, player behavior, and player psychology.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards for interactive media and video games.
  • Passion for Dungeons & Dragons and tabletop role-playing games is a plus.
