Description

  • Provide residents with responsive, empathetic service across multifamily, single-family, and student housing communities.
  • Use Happy Force software to review, triage, prioritize, and respond to incoming maintenance tickets.
  • Coach residents through basic maintenance fixes via SMS and written messaging following standard operating procedures.
  • Collect relevant information from residents to support on-site teams when issues need to be escalated.
  • Communicate daily with property teams about operations, updates, and escalations.
  • Guide residents through mitigation steps to help prevent property damage.
  • Process incoming work orders through completion.
  • Participate in feedback sessions to improve product use and internal processes.
  • Collaborate with other Virtual Maintenance Technicians, Leads, and corporate team members via Zoom and other channels.
  • Maintain flexibility to work different shifts as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of on-site residential maintenance experience.
  • Experience in multifamily residential property maintenance.
  • Fluent written English language and grammar skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with tools like Google Docs or willingness to learn.
  • Strong understanding of the relationship between residents, property management, and maintenance teams.
  • Ability to accurately assess maintenance issue types and priority levels.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic maintenance issues efficiently.
  • Upbeat, empathetic personality with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Willingness to assist others, be proactive, and contribute with a strong growth mindset.
