Description

  • Support client engagement and power marketing strategies across U.S. markets.
  • Maintain CRM systems, RFP trackers, and other business-tracking tools.
  • Prepare presentations for executive and customer briefings.
  • Monitor and summarize load-serving entities’ integrated resource and procurement plans.
  • Evaluate and track RFPs and other renewable energy and storage opportunities.
  • Coordinate proposal development for RFPs and bilateral opportunities by gathering information from internal subject matter experts.
  • Track executed power purchase, tolling, build-transfer, and related agreements.
  • Monitor RTO, market working groups, and trade associations for regulatory and market developments.
  • Model and evaluate how market design, generation, storage, and transmission changes affect procurement opportunities and energy prices.
  • Support long-term forecasting of nodal, zonal, and OTC energy prices using fundamental and third-party models.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings and communicate findings clearly to varied audiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, engineering, sustainability, finance, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in the electric utility industry’s regulatory or commercial sector.
  • Working knowledge of organized and bilateral U.S. electricity markets.
  • Familiarity with at least one ISO/RTO market is preferred.
  • Coursework or relevant experience in power system analysis, economics, operations and planning, optimization, data analysis, or object-oriented programming.
  • Familiarity with CRM and industry platforms such as F1, Procore, LevelTen, Aurora, or NPM is preferred.
  • Commercial and regulatory experience in utility-scale solar and energy storage is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and market research capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly and succinctly in meetings and presentations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

Benefits

  • Annual salary of $90,000–$105,000.
