Description

  • Prospect for new leads and opportunities through outreach, referrals, industry events, and inbound enquiries.
  • Manage the full sales pipeline from lead generation through to contract close.
  • Screen, qualify, demonstrate the product, and negotiate agreements with customers.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support long-term satisfaction and account growth.
  • Own the end-to-end customer experience during onboarding and deployment of Halter’s product.
  • Ensure a smooth handoff from sales to implementation and help customers realise value from the solution.
  • Gather field feedback from customers and share insights with Product, Support, and R&D teams.
  • Partner with Support to resolve customer issues quickly and escalate problems when needed.
  • Manage a large territory with a balanced focus on sales performance and customer success.
  • Work with regional agricultural groups to build deep relationships across the beef industry.

Requirements

  • Value-based sales experience with a strong track record of creating opportunities, closing deals, and building customer relationships.
  • Experience upselling and growing partnerships after the sale.
  • Beef industry experience, or a strong passion for beef operations and willingness to learn farm operations quickly.
  • Ability to manage a large territory using critical thinking and balanced prioritisation.
  • Resourceful, quick-thinking, and able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, take ownership of results, and bring strong energy to customer interactions.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the Hunter Valley territory.
  • Based anywhere in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, ideally in Maitland.
